Career transition is a professional service that organizations offer to employees who are leaving following a layoff or the end of their employment. It takes the form of a support program designed to guide these employees through the period of change with confidence and to plan the next step in their career.
Our services are for organizations that wish to provide this support to employees who are leaving during a layoff or at the end of their employment. They are not offered directly to individuals, unless their employer has granted them this type of support.
Our programs are flexible and can be tailored to the needs of each organization. Different levels are offered to fit your context and your budget. The fee structure is available on request.
No. Fees are billed only once the employee activates their access and holds their first meeting with a certified coach. If a person decides not to use the service, no fee applies. You pay exclusively for programs that actually begin.
Yes. Our programs include support during end-of-employment announcements. A coach is on hand to meet the affected employees immediately after the announcement, and your managers receive preparation beforehand.
None. Outplacement is the English term, and career transition its French equivalent. In both cases, it is the service an organization offers to an employee whose position is ending, to support them from the announcement through to their new job.
In Quebec, the Act respecting labour standards (s. 84.0.10) requires an employer carrying out a collective dismissal of 50 or more employees to take part in setting up a reclassification assistance committee when the Minister requests it. Beyond the legal obligation, a structured support program lets everyone move forward. Departing employees find new work faster, those who stay are reassured, and the organization gets through the stage with consistency.
Yes. Career transition is often part of a broader process. Our HR consulting teams support the planning and implementation of reorganizations, and our recruitment service takes over when it is time to rebuild the team. Our case studies and our HR blog illustrate these combined mandates.
